Class Descriptions
Gentle Yoga
For those who want to take it slow and simple. This class consists of easy warm-ups, gentle stretching, and basic postures. This is a great class for beginners!
Basic Yoga
Offers a wide range of postures with focus on mind-body awareness, alignment and proper breathing techniques. Options are given so students can modify the intensity of their own practice.
Level Up
As the name suggests, this is an opportunity to "level up" your basic yoga practice. You will be able to compassionately challenge your body and mind while building strength, flexibility and learning new things!
Restorative Yoga
This is a deeply healing and relaxing class is perfect for everyone, especially those of us with hectic lives! With the help of props and time, you will release deep and chronic tension and pain that normally isn't accessible.
Stretch and Breathe
& Slow Flow
Combines gentle stretching movements with mindful breath work to increase flexibility, strengthen and tones muscles and improve posture and balance. All ages and levels are welcome.
Pilates
Focuses on alignment and core stability in a series of movement. It is a total body workout that tones and strengthens the entire body, improves balance, agility and mobility.
Strength & Flexibility
With a focus on alignment and safety, this class incorporates a series of postures designed to use body weight to strengthen and tone. Balanced with flexibility training, you will cultivate safe and functional movement in the body that is essential and available to all.
Vinyasa Flow
This practice is all about grace, fluidity, and strength. Using the breath as the guide, you flow between postures, moving almost like a dance. This can be a more challenging class but modifications are always given so all are welcome
Mindful Meditation
Based on Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), this class will help you strengthen your mind-body connection, give you practical tools for reducing stress in your life, and give you a place to relax and let go.
Mobility Yoga
This gentle class focuses on joint health and mobility. You will increase your range of motion, balance, and flexibility. It incorporates straps and blocks and a standing series. This practice will address the entire body and is suitable for all levels.
Zumba Fitness
Combining fantastic music from around the world with easy to follow step, Zumba will give you a kick a$$ cardio workout you can't wait to get back to! Can be done barefoot or with sneakers.
Mindful Flow
This class incorporates the movement of vinyasa yoga with mindful meditation practices to give you the best of both worlds! Cultivate a deeper sense of purpose and awareness in your yoga practice, on and off the mat.
All classes are open to everyone, although they may differ in intensity. Modifications are given throughout but please connect with your teacher if you have any questions or concerns. We strive to make our students safe and successful in their practice, whatever that is for them.
